Romans 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the thngs that have been made. So they are without excuse.
Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him,
but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Romans 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
Romans 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Job 38:2 Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
God was talking to Job a righteous man, yet Job had need of correction
from God, who put this question to Job
but if this is said of Job who God said turns from evil, how much more
those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness
Romans 1:24-32:
Romans 1:24 Therefore God gave there up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,
Romans 1:25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
Romans 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions_ For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;
Romans 1:27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Romans1.28 (see note below) And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
Romans 1:29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,
Romans 1:30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evi, disobedient to parents.
Romans 1:31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
Romans 1:32 Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
Romans 1:28 and since they did not see fit to acknowledge God =
to recognize something as being what it truly is—to acknowledge.’ ‘because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God’
Ephestans 4:18-19 Ephesians 4:17 …, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.
1. they are darkened in their understanding
Ephesians 1.18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what
is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
- alienated from the life of God
1. alienated = be foreigner, be excluded, be alienated, be estranged (Eph 2:12; 4:18; Col 1:21+)
- because of the ignorance that is in them
- As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance
1 Peter 1:14 ignorance or lack of information can be overcome, we have the above mentioned setting n Romans 1
- the information contained in creation to perceive God and the words of the prophets, Jesus Christ and the apostles are God’s hand being extended to us, waiting torus appropriate response
- the appropriate response is once! awe, respect and obedience
- due to their hardness of heart
Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and a was attested to us by those Me heard,
neglect =
to not think about, and thus not respond appropriately to—lo neglect, to disregard, to pay no attention to. ‘but they paid no attention and left’ Mt 22:5; in) ‘do not neglect the spiritual gift that is in you’ 1 Tm 4:14;
Romans 119 And David says, “Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them;

2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
