Galatians 3:16–18 16 Now the promises … by a promise.
Galatians 3:16 Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say,
“And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.
Genesis 3:15 Promised Seed
Genesis 3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her
offspring; HE shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
“HE“ is referring to a specific individual Jesus Christ
Genesis 18:19 obedience
this verse among many others makes it clear that faith requires obedience
Genesis 22:18
18 and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed
my voice.”

Romans 4:13–17 it depends on faith
16 That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be
guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who
shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, 17 as it is written, “I HAVE MADE YOU
THE FATHER OF MANY NATIONS”
isn’t it comforting and encouraging to see in God’s word the soundness of the foundation
of faith in Jesus Christ?
Acts 10:43
To him all the prophets bear witness that EVERYONE who believes in him receives forgiveness of
sins through his name.”
Acts 13:39
and by him EVERYONE who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed
by the law of Moses.
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to EVERYONE who
believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to EVERYONE who believes.
